The Jets’ season is on the brink of destruction and if they can’t salvage the final game of their six-week gauntlet their season will be over with seven games left.

Rex Ryan

It seems like the Jets being 1-0 and leading the Packers 21-3 in Lambeau Field in Week 2 never happened. After beating a bad Raiders team, which might be the worst team in league, in the season opener, the Jets entered a six-week gauntlet against the Packers, Bears, Lions, Chargers, Broncos and Patriots in which they have gone 0-5 and have pretty much guaranteed Rex Ryan’s last game as Jets head coach will be in Week 17.

For the third time this season, my friend and lifelong optimistic Jets fan Tim Duff joined me to talk about the state of the Jets, which isn’t exactly good, and even his optimism is starting to fade with the Jets riding a five-game losing streak into Thursday Night Football with the Patriots.
