Podcast: Danny Picard

It’s been nearly six months since the Bruins ended the Rangers’ season in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals in what would thankfully be John Tortorella’s last game behind the bench for the Rangers. For the first time this season, the Rangers and Bruins meet at Madison Square Garden in one of only two meetings at MSG this season and one of only three meetings between the teams all season thanks to the brilliant realignment and scheduling changes.

Danny Picard, host of I’m Just Sayin‘ (which can be found on iTunes) and host of The Danny Picard Show on WEEI on the weekends, joined me to talk about the Bruins’ place in Boston among the four major sports teams after their second Cup run in three seasons, how Tim Thomas will remembered in Boston and what’s different about this Bruins team from the one we saw eliminate the Rangers last spring.
